• Computer Lab

    The School has a well-equipped computer lab with 31 computers. It has advanced infrastructure in terms of hardware and software which cater to the requirements of the students, teachers and the curriculum. The school is equipped with a dedicated broadband/ Wi-Fi Internet connection for enterprising students to get a chance to be familiar with the Internet. They do comprehensive research for their projects and presentations.

    The Information Technology curriculum has been planned in such a way that the students of classes I to VIII will get exposure to various technologies and software. In the primary section, the students are trained to use basic software like Windows, MS-Office (MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel, etc.). Along with this, they get exposure to computer programming at the elementary stage through computer languages like LOGO and Q-Basic in order to improve their logical skills. The students are assessed on their practical skills over a regular time interval via projects and assignments given to them. In the higher classes, the students have an option to learn advanced software which are the part of their curriculum. Students get exposure to the latest Multimedia software like FLASH, Photoshop, and Image-Ready, etc. On the other hand, to sharpen their logical and reasoning skills, they learn computer languages like Visual Basic, JAVA and C++.

  • Biology Lab

    The role of the laboratory and field learning becomes a key component in understanding biology. Laboratory, field activities, and inquiry provide students with opportunities to question, observe, sample, experience, and experiment with scientific phenomena in their quest for knowledge of living things. KR Public School vaunts an intricately designed Biology Laboratory planned to meet the demands of the advancement in science and technology.

  • Physics Lab

    The Laboratory reinforces the knowledge acquired in the theory class by emphasizing on the fundamental concepts of physics. It aids the students understanding of using lab equipments. Moreover, it makes them realize the importance of direct observation as compared to inference based on theory. It helps the students develop a broad array of basic skills, especially experimental and analytical skills, and a general understanding of the tools of experimental physics and data analysis.

  • Chemistry Lab

    Chemistry lab is the required component of all chemistry courses not only to give experiments their due place in the subject but also to promote in general, an experimental culture in the school system. In the chemistry lab students are expected to indulge in a creative interplay of observation, experimentation and theoretical inferences. Students are trained to use scientific instruments, make observations, interpret and draw conclusions from observed facts. As per the guidelines of CBSE curriculum even the most basic techniques and procedures like inorganic and organic analysis, both qualitative and quantitative are dealt in such an enthusiastic and efficient manner that they not only enable students to face various changes related to health, nutrition, environment, industries, weather etc but also acquaint them with different aspects of chemistry in daily life.

  • Math Lab

    Amazing learning happens when a student himself does what the theorems he learned in the math class. To enrich the teaching of Mathematics at the school level, the math lab has been set up. The "learning by discovery" approach is practiced here and students are made to work on projects and activities, which highlight the relevance of mathematics.

  • Language Lab

    The importance of the English language cannot be mitigated even if so desired. It is almost necessary that a learner has a good command over the language to allow him overall success in life. Having clarity and accuracy of the English language gives confidence to the learner and opens doors to avenues otherwise out of reach. His/her understanding of the nuances of the English language serves as a platform to rise and evolve in his life and career. It is thus vital, that provisions be made to enhance the skills of the learners of this global language.

    It is the first ELL running in our district. It is very useful for students & teachers to improve their vocabulary (word power), English communication and ideal pronunciation. It has two programs. One student listens to the ideal conversations and repeats until he/she learned. In second student practices and gets score to increase their level.

  • Geography Lab

    Geography lab plays a pivotal role in enriching geographical base of a student- a necessary part of learning that exposes students to full spectrum of disciplinary subfields- physical, human and nature-society geography as well as geographical techniques. The lab is well equipped with a series of maps, topographic sheets and variety of survey equipments like tracing table, thermometers, barometer, magnetic compass, electric globe, anemometer, wind wane, standard time indicator and wet and dry bulb thermometers. CDs related to different topics are also kept in the lab. Field trips are organized for the students to study the natural occupancy of various facts and inform about physical changes with the help of Global positioning system and Geographic information system available on Net. Geography Lab specializes in the development of qualitative and quantitative research skills in School.

    Our school has a small universe in Geography lab for students. It includes number of working models like Solar system, Rain water harvesting, Earth Quake, Wind Direction, etc. It has number of Maps from Nandurbar Taluka Map to World map including various Atlas to make the students enable to learn the exact location of each and every place. With the help of models student can get the real kind of experience.
