Coding & Robotics Lab

K R Public School (KRPS), Nandurbar, has taken an innovative step towards developing 21st-century skills among students by introducing a dedicated Coding & Robotics programme in collaboration with Tekkie.

Coding & Robotics Lab
The Coding & Robotics Lab is designed to provide students with hands-on learning experiences in coding, robotics, computational thinking, and emerging technologies. The programme focuses on learning by doing, allowing students to create, experiment, test, and solve real-world problems.
Tie-up with Tekkie
KRPS has partnered with Tekkie to provide structured and age-appropriate Coding & Robotics education to students from Classes 1 to 8. Through this collaboration, students are introduced to technology progressively according to their age and learning level.

Aim of the Coding & Robotics Lab
The main objectives of the lab are to:
  • Develop logical and computational thinking.
  • Build problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Introduce students to coding and programming concepts from an early age.
  • Encourage creativity, innovation, and experimentation.
  • Develop teamwork and collaboration through project-based activities.
  • Give students practical exposure to robotics and emerging technologies.
  • Help students understand how technology can be used to solve real-life problems.
  • Prepare students with essential 21st-century skills for their future education and careers.

Classes 1 to 8
The programme is conducted progressively from Class 1 to Class 8, with activities designed according to the students' age and level of understanding.
Classes 1–2
Introduction to computational thinking, sequencing, logical reasoning, and basic coding through fun and interactive activities.
Classes 3–5
Block-based coding, problem-solving, creative projects, basic robotics, and understanding how instructions control machines.
Classes 6-8
Advanced coding concepts, robotics, project development, computational thinking, and technology-based problem solving.
Learning by Creating
At KRPS, Coding & Robotics is not limited to textbook learning. Students get opportunities to design, build, code, test, identify errors, and improve their projects. This practical approach encourages students to become creators and innovators rather than just users of technology.
